Self Initiated Project: Blind

The setting for the room will be at night with the lights on, so I need something to cover up the windows. I thought about curtains but this would be a big challenge to pull off and I thought that choosing blinds is slightly more modern that curtains.

I created a simple pull down blind that will cover both windows and be able to stop the viewer from seeing out of the window into nothingness. As there wasn’t much colour going into the level, I decided to make them blue to go with other assets in the room. They were originally green but it was slightly too much and an eye sore.

Looking closely at the blind and you can see a cloth texture on it, I did this so it didn’t just look like a block colour and to show that it was a fabric blind and not a plastic one.
