Prospect Centre Show 15th – 17th May

As we have been very busy as of late with sorting out for our Prospect centre showing for Paragon’s Past, with creating flyers, posters, fly through and so on. All the group had to get to college early on Thursday so we could set up. The TV and information board had to be delivered at 8am, as well as pick a few people up too but due to a mix up, the tv was delivered at 8 with no one with it. After this mix up, we had to wait until 9:30 for it to be delivered again, which gave us some more time to get some stuff printed out for the show.

We was meant to be fully prepared and opened for 10am but due to the TV mix up, we didn’t get fully set up until 10:45, but the group knew that these mistakes and misunderstandings happen and we just needed to carry on and find alternative ways around it. We had a rota for the group, so we knew what people will be at the showing and what times. The first morning was Me, Alex, Matt and Sam; we had quite a few various people that where interested in it and wished to see more of it.

During my time on the stand, we had a lady from a marketing company called Mercury Marketing, who stated that she works with PR and marketing in the area for digital media and other media’s. She got details of our project and what our aim was and she seemed very interested in it and seemed to want to help us get some publicity for our show. Which she tweeted to their many followers out to gain some publicity for us… Which is fantastic for us and the college. Also she said that she will try to pass on our information to some of her clients that might be interested in our work for Paragon’s Past.

Below are some images of us setting up the area for the show.
