Project Paragon: Large Water Spout (Updated)
I have created another asset that was assigned to me, I have created a simple grey rusty texture as it is hard to tell the colour from the black and white reference images I have.
These are the large spouts that would of filled certain trains with water from the water tank and were on the ends of the platforms. The reference images are courtesy of Matt and were a huge help of creating this unique water spout.
EDIT
I recently recieved a comment from Gareth stating that my Water Spout was probably a fair bit taller than I originally modelled, also from my reference images you can’t see the bottom half of the spout. So researching into other spouts, and looking at the image Gareth referred me too, I altered the way it looks to give it some more aethetic value. I added a section that raises the height of it, I also added a water wheel that would be used to turn the water on and off.

Great Reece. A really useful asset, however, it might be worth looking at additional reference to the photo on your blog as we think the pump might be taller (2 or 3 times) than you’ve shown here. The dimensions all seem okay, but you may need to add in an additional section in the upright.
