Drawing and Rendering 2

The second part of the lesson we looked into Basic Perspective drawings and crating objects.

For this we were shown the two point perspective technique, this technique helps draw perfect 3D shapes with the help of a line called the Horizon. Firstly this is drawn onto the page and then to create a shape you have to draw a line from each end of the horizon line. If you draw it below the horizon you will see the top of the shape, draw it on the line and you will see neither the bottom or top and if you draw it above the line then you will see the bottom of it.

We were asked to draw examples of this and also to create a level design using this technique.

We also looked into drawing organic shapes using contour lines to make then look 3D and stand out more.
